- UMCET is responsible for the computer or software applications that enable health professionals and staff to effectively deliver and document patient care or handle the administrative aspect of the healthcare visit. - Each application has been selected, designed and collaboratively implemented by the UM Core teams (BIMS, CIMS, HIMS) with the clinicians and staff that will use the application as an electronic tool. - UM Physicians and staff work with specific applications to accomplish their work or a specialized “task”, as the patient receives care within the University of Miami Hospitals and Clinics. |
