UMCET Core Services
Internal UMCET Support Services


UMCET Core Services Teams directly support applications that our business, clinical, health information, and research customers use during their normal workday to delivery patient care, research or to process patient information and reimbursement transactions. Core Services teams actively participate in new implementation projects, upgrades, enhancements, and production support.
Core Services Division, several interrelated teams (BIMS, CIMS, HIMS, and RIMS), supports the clinical departments of the University of Miami Medical Group for their:
UMCET Support Services Teams provide internal services for our CORE Services Teams to support daily operations, projects, and customer needs. Our customers may be aware of the Help Desk, Security (for application access requests), Training, and Health Management Engineering, but may not realize the behind-the scenes efforts of the other support teams. The Core and Support Teams’ integrated work efforts enable seamless delivery of services for project or production activities to ensure efficient operations for all customers.
